Legacy

At the serrated edge of liberation,
shrouded figures draw near.

Soiled, failed, unfulfilled,
I will not rise again.

Blood electrifies my veins
with heavy pulses of laughter.

Hell seeks to seduce me.
My sins are my desires.

Wanton sex, murdered innocence,
my destiny unravels.

Eyes wide open: I have found my home.
